For fans of mystery/thrillers that are dark and don’t shy away from violence, read Phantom by Jo Nesbo. If you like your main characters to be flawed and anything but angelic, this is the book for you. Harry Hole, who has been away from Oslo for three years (read The Snowman and The Leopard to find out why and just because they are amazing books!) returns and starts investigating the death of a young junkie only to find that he and the killer have more in common than what he bargained for.
For followers of Nesbo’s Hole series, more questions are answered about Harry’s past. New readers will love meeting a man who struggles to come to grips with events of his past in a well written thriller that, like the books of Lee Child, Stieg Larsson or Stuart Woods, will leave you wanting more.

|
The wait is almost over for Jo Nesbo fans in Canada and the US - Headhunters, the first of Nesbo's novels to be adapted for film, hits theaters in mere weeks!
Headhunters stars the talented Aksel Hennie as Roger, a charming scoundrel and Norway's most accomplished headhunter. Roger is living a life of luxury well beyond his means, and stealing art to subsidize his expensive lifestyle. When his beautiful gallery owner wife introduces him to a former mercenary in the possession of an extremely valuable painting, he decides to risk it all to get his hands on it, and in doing so discovers something which makes him a hunted man.
An American version of Headhunters is already in the works, with Mark Walberg tapped to play Roger. Will you watch the original Swedish version, or wait for the US blockbuster?
